Revenue Metrics​

Earnings​

Your total earnings over the selected time period.

Your earnings from books sold in print format. This includes both paperback and hardcover books.

eBook Royalties​

Your earnings from books sold in eBook format.

KDP Select Royalties​

Your earnings from books borrowed through Kindle Unlimited or the Kindle Owners' Lending Library.

Pre Order Royalties​

Your earnings from pre-orders.

Audio Royalties​

Your earnings from audiobooks.

Unit Metrics​

Sales​

The number of sales in all formats. Equals the sum of the next three metrics.

The number of sales of print books. This includes both paperback and hardcover books.

eBook Sales​

The number of sales of eBooks.

Pre Orders​

The number of pre-orders your book received.

Borrows​

The number of borrows of eBooks. This includes borrows through programs like Kobo Plus. Borrows through KDP are estimated based on the KENPC read and the KENPC of the book.

Pages Read​

The number of pages read through the Kindle Unlimited program.

Free Units​

The number of units given away for free. This includes free promotions, giveaways, and anywhere the sale price is zero.

The number of units sold for a price greater than zero, plus the number of borrows.

Audio Units​

The number of audiobooks sold or borrowed.

Units​

The total number of units sold, borrows, and free units. How many copies of your book have been distributed.

Refunds​

The number of refunds given for your books, or the number of times your book has been returned.
